New Movie: Strange Wilderness (2008)

After the genial, beloved TV host of the popular wildlife show "Strange Wilderness" passes on to the great nature special in the sky, his son Peter Gaulke takes over the series--and things are never the same. Ignorant, bumbling and blissfully unaware of his own lack of talent, Pete sprinkles his documentary narrations with dubious factoids. When the ratings sink to an all-time low and the show is about to be cancelled, Pete and his filmmaking partner Fred Wolf realize they have to come up with "something big" to save the series. It looks like they've hit the jackpot when Pete lucks into a map of the legendary Bigfoot's secret cave. But when the clueless producer leads his ragtag crew to the wilds of Central America to film the elusive beast, they encounter a string of disasters. Desperate for a stunt to drive "Strange Wilderness" ratings back up and salvage the show, Pete brainstorms with his motley crew. Their luck seems to take a turn for the better when Pete gets a visit from his father's backwoods survivalist friend Bill Calhoun, who offers to sell him a map to Bigfoot's jungle hideout. Convinced this is the big break they've been waiting for, Pete and Fred hire two new crewmembers, Bill Whitaker and Cheryl, and set off for Ecuador in their dilapidated RV. From the start, however, the ambitious expedition is beset with disasters. Along the way, the hapless crew will have to survive near-death encounters with overzealous border guards, an amorous turkey, flesh-eating fish, murderous natives and a host of other obstacles that more than live up to the name "Strange Wilderness."

Enough is enough, let’s act now

MANILA, Philippines -- (UPDATE 6) Confetti rained down on some 9,000 anti-Arroyo rallyists, representing various militant, civil society, and Church groups, who gathered in a portion of Makati City Friday.
“Sobra na, tama na, kumilos na [Enough is enough, let’s act now],” was the theme of the protest that started at about 4 p.m.
Members of the United Opposition, the Bagong Alyansang Makabayan, Partido ng Manggagawa, Gabriela, Partido ng Masa, Akbayan, and the United Church of Christ of the Philippines converged at Paseo de Roxas, near the monument of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., demanding the resignation of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo over the national broadband network controversy that has linked her husband and some of her allies to allegations of corruption.

John Rambo (IV)

Last Night I watch the movie John Rambo (IV) It's really great, this is the kind og movie I love to watch, here is the plot of the movie;
Vietnam veteran John Rambo has survived many harrowing ordeals in his lifetime and has since withdrawn into a simple and secluded existence in Thailand, where he spends his time capturing snakes for local entertainers, and chauffeuring locals in his old PT boat. Even though he is looking to avoid trouble, trouble has a way of finding him: a group of Christian human rights missionaries, led by Michael Burnett and Sarah Miller, approach Rambo with the desire to rent his boat to travel up the river to Burma. For over fifty years, Burma has been a war zone. The Karen people of the region, who consist of peasants and farmers, have endured brutally oppressive rule from the murderous Burmese military and have been struggling for survival every single day. After some inner contemplation, Rambo accepts the offer and takes Michael, Sarah, and the rest of the missionaries up the river. When the missionaries finally arrive at the Karen village, they find themselves part of a raid by the sadistic Major Pa Tee Tint and a slew of Burmese army men. A portion of the villagers and missionaries are tortured and viciously murdered, while Tint and his men hold the remainder captive. Concerned by their disappearance, the minister in charge of the mission gathers a group of mercenaries and pleas Rambo transport them with his boat, since he knows their last exact location. But Rambo can’t stay behind: he joins the team where he belongs, to liberate the survivors from the clutches of Major Tint in what may be one of his deadliest missions ever.

Sleepless Because of Insomnia...

For almost 10 years, I've suffer for this kind of illness, many explanation came out what 's the reason of having insomnia, but for me, it is clear, my mind cannot rest, so many things to bother my mind even in bedtime. There was a time that I'm lying in my bed as early as 8pm but i can't feel asleep until 4 am, and that's for 3 to 4 consecutive days!
Just like this moment, it is already 3:20 am, but I'm still awake, even my body need to rest... I need to rest! I have my duty, I don't want to be pressured. I have to fulfill my duties and responsibilities everyday, I have to finish my projects, my thesis.

Insomnia
is a sleeping disorder characterized by persistent difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep despite the opportunity. It is typically followed by functional impairment while awake. Insomniacs have been known to complain about being unable to close their eyes or "rest their mind" for more than a few minutes at a time. Both organic and non-organic insomnia constitute a sleep disorder.
