=============================================================
The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is located about 50 km north of the city of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. It features a limestone karst mountain landscape with an 8.2 km. navigable underground river. A distinguishing feature of the river is that it winds through a cave before flowing directly into the South China Sea. It includes major formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and several large chambers. The lower portion of the river is subject to tidal influences. The underground river is reputed to be the world's longest. At the mouth of the cave, a clear lagoon is framed by ancient trees growing right to the water's edge. Monkeys, large monitor lizards, and squirrels find their niche on the beach near the cave.

Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is on rank 41 as of noon, 30april. It came online as an official nominee for the New7 wonders of nature campaign last April 10. It's barely 3 weeks and started top bottom rank 275 and climbing up steadily since it came online. So far it has not been outranked. I hope it will continue till it reach the 21 finalist.

Once the nominees reached the 21th rank,the N7W organizers start looking for documents submitted to them. The official supporting committee form and a written authority signed by a legitimate local government unit, agency etc. You will just disappear without warning. It happened to all of our Philippine nominees.

And the most controversial was the Chocolate Hills. I would have felt the same raged and worry. Imagine, you were already in rank 7 and you disappeared in thin air.

What every nominee wants is to be in the magic 21 because that's the first step to qualify for the New 7 wonders of nature. Incidentally, the top 77 will be considered for the 21 finalists.Common sense dictates that there is a big chance if you are already within the 21 finalists. Still a lot of time to cover.

Well,soon it will be Underground river's turn to be in the 21 ranking, oh my goodness. Lets see if my deduction is right,this is the time official nominees just disappear without any warning.hehehe Let's wait and see. Meanwhile lets continue to campaign for our Philippine nominees, 245days,7hours,45minutes & 10seconds before the final countdown.
